Laird Electric is pleased to announce the launch of its new logo. In the next few months, you will notice some exciting changes to the branding and tools we use to represent Laird’s unique corporate identity.

Laird began in Fort McMurray as a community based electrical contractor in 1962, and has evolved into one of the largest electrical service providers in Northern Alberta. With offices in Edmonton, Fort McMurray and Ontario, Laird is now an industry leader and national competitor. The redesigned logo contains aspects of the original to remind us of the company’s heritage so that we continue to take pride in all of the hard work that has gone into creating the organization that exists today.

The new logo was designed to emphasize Laird’s vision to be the most admired electrical services company in Canada and represents our vibrant corporate culture. By placing the modernized bolt over Laird it provides a sense of protection, conveying the company’s goal of creating value for its customers, stakeholders and employees. The placement also invokes the suggestion of a horizon - moving forward, embracing change, and a willingness to grow.

Laird values safety, quality, integrity, innovation and the entrepreneurial spirit. The new refined and modern logo embodies these principles. While the logo has changed, Laird’s commitment to its people and to deliver the highest quality service to our customers remains the same.
